Sending Hugs, double Oval Frames Popup

I’ve been thinking about pulling out the Oval Frames Pop-up dieset but was trying to think of a creative way to use it. Then I sat down to watch Friday’s episode of Craft Roulette and it came to me. These are this weeks parameters ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

The 2 folds are the gate folds, I decided to make a wooden slat planter and fill it with brightly coloured flowers. The 2 girl gnomes both have a smiley face, and the old product I used was old string and an old pink metallic elastic thread to tie the bow on the front.

You are My Sunshine – July Design Challenge

It’s time for the Karen Burniston design team challenge. This months challenge was to use one of the new diesets with a paper pack that was sent to each of the design team, I was happy to receive this beautiful Echo Park Best Summer Ever paper pack with stickers, and this is what I came up with.

Take the Shot

So many fun new dies, I wasn’t sure where to start. But when I saw the new Game Charms charms, with the 8 Ball I knew I wanted to make a pool table with all the balls. I thought using the Photo Collage Pop up would give the impression of the balls breaking.

Happy Houses

A little late this week, but we we go. I’ve been really busy working on cards that I can”t show off yet (the Karen Burniston June sneak peek starts June 19th) so I have Craft Roulette card to share. This weeks parameters were a bit easy so I decided to add the challenge of using diesets I have, but haven’t used before, and to chose paper from my stash, not the pretty new paper I used for last weeks challenge, even though it would have been perfect for this card. lol. Craft Roulette parameters ⬇️

I made a shorter slim line (than I typically make), I think the colours I used could be seen at a tea part, including black for tea, I used the “word” Hello, I have hand drawn lines throughout but they are more noticeable on the front label, I added the little white lines on the pattern paper and borders as well.

Crafty Friend Birthday Card

I am sooo bummed, I just did this blog, the entire thing, was in the very last steps and for some reason my app closed and I lost it all 😢 so here I go again. I really like how this colour combo works together. I’m not typically a yellow/orange person but I really like how these colours pop against the blue. I’ve been having so much fun with Craft Roulette, so I thought I’d play again. This weeks parameters were to have a “card on a card”, “Sky view” colours, it had to have a “table” (this one almost got me) end it had to have white dots or spots. So I went with a messy craft table, with a slimline card sitting on top (bonus challenge, if you know me if there is a card on my messy table it would be a pop up card, so I made a pop up card for my mini card) The colours I chose remind me of a sunset. And the flowers all have little white dots and the gems look like white dots against the blue. This card design is based on a Valentine card that Karen Burniston made a few years ago.
