Peek-a-boo Monster

It’s spooky season and time to share my card for the Karen Burniston Design Team Challenge. This month’s challenge is “Peek-A-Boo!” I wanted to make a fun card for one of my Granddaughters so I came up with this cute purple monster. I also have a mini monster peeking over the band on the front of the card. I knew I need to make 3 cards, for 3 sisters so I decided to make a series of Halloween cards using the same size card base, and the same colours and patterned paper. This card is the first of the series. I am also using some of Karens new stamps on this card.

Barnyard Bash

I just love how this card turned out and am excited to share it with you today. Today is the Karen Burniston design team challenge day and the challenge for May is to “make it fluffy”. I have a fluffy sheep, fluffy clouds, and fluffy icing on my cupcakes. I decided to make this barnyard bash card for my Granddaughters first birthday card. Her stuffed cow is her favourite so I thought I’d make her a cow with all her barn yard buddies.

Sand Toys on the Beach

At first I wasn’t sure what I was going to do for this month’s Karen Burniston design team challenge. Karens challenge to us is “Lake or Ocean”. Well as some of you know I grew up in a town that is on the shores of Lake Huron, so I knew I wanted to lean towards lake. I also knew I wanted to do something a little different than what I’ve previously done, or else would it really be a challenge 🤷🏻‍♀️ So I thought for a bit, what else can you do at the beach and then it hit me… play with sand toys. And this is what I came up with.

More than the Moon Valentine

Happy Valentine’s Day, today I’m sharing a set of Valentine’s Day cards that I made for my granddaughters. Even though I made the same cards, I made them slightly different. Each one uses a different patterned paper, and the face in the window resembles each girl. The message is something that we say to each other and holds a special place in my heart.

Hello Beautiful

Hello, I’m a little late posting my Craft Roulette card this week, but here it is. This card turned out prettier than I thought it would. This weeks parameters are…

This is how I met the parameters, “Hello“ is part of the greeting on the front. The deep purple is a “robust” colour. Workplace is kind of a stretch but I do have flowers as decor around my workplace, or if I were a florist I’d be surrounded by flowers. And “Mixed Media” is the multiple products I used; paper, cardstock, gold Wink of Stella, clear Wink of Stella, clear bubbles, lace ribbon, gold string, Versa marker, and white gel pen. This is what I came up with….
