So I’ve been a little MIA lately, life have been a little crazy, and by a little I mean a lot. I have not been able to do too much in the craft room so I decided to post a card I made last year for Father’s Day. I had someone need a special farm themed card so this is what I came up with.Continue reading “Father’s Day on the Farm”
Welcome to the weekend Woo Hoo, is it just me or was this a really long week, wow. With all the craziness going on right now with the COVID-19 I am looking forward to a quiet weekend and hopefully some time in my craft space. I am so anxious to share this card, it cracks me up every time I open it. Lol 😆 I have been looking forward to making this card ever since I saw Karen Aiken’s Monkey Card for some reason I kept thinking the ovals would make great elephant ears.
This card is also a Crazy4Challenges challenge and this weeks challenge was a design challenge. I had to use a sketch for the front of the card and I was free to do the inside however I wanted. And this is what I came up with.
This card is so much better in a video, so to see this card in motion please check out my Facebook or my Instagram Please feel free to join my Facebook page if you would like to share your own crafty creations

Ever since Karen Burniston came out with the fun Surprise Ball pop up there have been so many fun animal cards. I have a friend who asked if I could make her a Long Horned Cow so I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to try my hand at a double surprise pop up animal. I thought he was lonely so I made him some friends 🐑🐓🐐🐖🐎Continue reading “The Gangs All Here”
This card is a bit of a stretch Lol, Apparently February 22 is “Walk the Dog” day. So the challenge this week is to put a dog or any kind of pet on your project. I know most people don’t have monkeys as a pet but I wouldn’t a pet monkey be fun. Lol I was going to put a dog popping out of the box but I thought the monkey is just so much cuter 🐵

Soooo excited, this week I am a guest designer for the Die Cuttin’ Divas Weekly Challenge Blog, and this week’s challenge is to create anything Tropical or Summer themed, and what’s more summer-themed than a giant sandcastle. I got inspiration from a couple of different sources to make this card. First I saw a tutorial for a sandcastle card from Karen Burniston where she used her Castle Pop-up and her Ice Cream Sundae Pop-up to make an interactive Pop up castle, the only problem was I don’t have the Ice Cream Sundae Pop-up, so I was trying to work it out in my head how I would make a fun but different Sand Castle card. Then I was binge-watching Jennifer McGuire videos and I came across her video on how to make a Bridge Card and I thought WOW the Castle dies would be perfect for this, so away I went.

So this week Crazy4Challenges challenge is a different one, apparently its national Fried Chicken 🍗 day in the U.S (who new) so this weeks challenge is to create a card with a bird on it. Well, I have a chicken 🐓 and all his barnyard friends. This card was also made as a request, I had a family friend who asked if I could make a birthday card for her grandson, I believe her words were “Can you make a birthday card for my almost-three-year-old grandson, maybe a farm theme” What my crazy craft brain heard was “I need a farm card with every farm animal you have, make sure ist big, bright, multicoloured, with balloons, streamers and party hats……. oh and don’t forget the cupcakes.” My son actually told me I was insane 🤪hahaha
I made a Party Animal Card a while back that is a little smaller.

I have been asked to make several cards in the past, but this is a first, I was asked to make a baby card with a shark theme. Hmmmmm I’ve never really thought of a shark theme for a baby card. I was sent a couple of photos of babies room and sure enough it had a shark/ocean theme (there was also a picture of a whale 🐳) sooooooo this is what I came up with, and I have to say it turned out pretty cute.

Here is a beach themed card that I made a little while back for a friend who loves her beachy vacations, so I thought she would enjoy this card. She enjoys her rum & coke so that is what Rocky the Crab is enjoying as well.

Love this little mouse, and in this card, the little stinker is running away with a Christmas light. I thought that it would be fun to make an interactive card and have Jolly the mouse actually be able to scurry across the card.
So this card was so much fun to make but turned into quite the challenge when I decided to make 50 of them, there were a few challenges along the way but I did get them all done and in the mail 🙂

Check out this “Cool” Penguin party 🙂 I made this card for a friend to give her parents for Christmas. It was well received after all the Penguins are quite a surprise when you open up the card.
