Hello and happy belated Mother’s Day. Even though I had this card completed a few weeks ago, I needed to wait until the recipient received her card. My colour pallet was chosen from this fun patterned paper from my stash.

So I had fun on a Friday night lol, Karen Burniston was a guest on the Craft Roulette YouTube Live . The idea of Craft Roulette is the host Mary Gunn, spins a wheel 4 times, to get 4 parameters in which you must use to make your card. The parameters are -Project, Colors, Element, and Random. So nobody knows what kind of card they are making until after the wheel randomly chooses. Last nights parameters ended up being a 5” x 7” card, in Spring colours, Starts with “G” and “outside the lines” so my card ended up being a 5” x 7” card , with mostly pastel colours with a few pops, I have gnomes in a garden, and a little bit of glimmer (wink of Stella on butterflies and some sequins) and my “out side the lines” is that the gnomes are peeking over from outside the lines of the label shape, and some of my other elements hang over the lines of the mechanism. *So apparently February 28th is floral design day sooooo, this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge is to make a card that features flowers. I had to make a card last week (it will post in the future as I matched it up with a different challenge) and I worked out how to add to the Parcel Pop Up so I could add a larger image and have it pop over the top edge of the card. I liked how it turned out so much that I decided to do it again with this card. I know it’s a bit early for Mother’s Day but I am ALWAYS so far behind I thought it would be good to actually get ahead of the game.

So I know Mother’s Day was last month, but I didn’t get the chance to post this card, and since the card theme can change with just a change of the greeting I thought I would post it anyway. I got this idea from a 50th Birthday Card that Karen Burniston made, I thought it would be fun to do it with flowers so I gave it a go.
The thing that makes this card so fun is that the front is clear plastic, so you get a peak of the inside but don’t get the full effect until it is opened.

Hey everyone I actually have a mid week post the week, welllll sort of. I was going through my photos of cards I made last year and I found this one. The only problem is is that I either didn’t take photos or I already deleted them. But I have the details from another card that I made at the same time that I did post last year. Exact same measurements exact same technique just different colours. So I thought I would share this pretty pink and red one today and I am linking to the directions from the one from last year if you want to know all of the dies that I’ve used and the measurements and how I cut and assembled. The cardstock is all from Stampin Up and the colours are either Real Red or Ridinghood Red, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, and possibly Creamy Caramel.
