Bold Brilliant Colourful You- January Release

I know I say this every time there is a new Karen Burniston release, BUT I had so much fun playing with these new dies. I found myself in my craft room quite a bit these last few weeks (my house work has been slacking 🤫)

I am so excited to share my first card from Karen Burnistons January Release. This one is my personal favourite, I used some of my favourite colours and I think it turned out wonderful. This Peacock and on turns the Arch pop up into this cool peacock. You can make it with a few feathers or as many as you would like to add. I decided to make a matching little peacock.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

Woof Bark Ruff Repeat

I just love how happy this card turned out, this cute pup just makes me smile. I chose the patterned paper from my stash and picked some matching cardstock and this is what I came up with.

Too Cute Monster Ball Pop up

I thought that I would get a bit creative with the Monster Playful Add on, They are meant to go on the Playful Pop Up but I thought I would see how they work on some of the pop up balls. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Take 2 – Butterfly Card

So I have to admit, that I’m a bit of a pack rat. I have a hard time getting rid of anything that I might “use one day” so I decided to start using up some of my older cards that I have in box or cards that I may have started and not finished and I am calling them “Take 2 Cards” because it will be their second chance of making it out of my craft room.

The card below was part of card swap that I was part of when I was a Stampin Up Demo, over ten years ago. (Don’t judge me lol) If I remember correctly I made ten for the swap and since I was on a roll I made a few more. But since then I have been addicted to pop up cards. I decided to make the butterfly card to a pop up butter fly card.

Sending Bugs and Kisses Box-January Design Team challenge

Happy New Year crafty friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my take on Karen Burniston’s January designer challenge which is “Bugs”. For those of you that follow along (and actually read) my blog you know that when I make a project I typically figure it out as I go. This project is definitely one of those. I started with a loose idea and then I went completely down the rabbit hole and ended up with this. Typically I add links through out the post but because most of these use mostly the same die sets I will link them at the end. If you follow the link, Karen has video tutorials for each set (just scroll down a bit once you get to the product)

I have to say I think these little critters are adorable!!!!!
