Take 2 – Butterfly Card

So I have to admit, that I’m a bit of a pack rat. I have a hard time getting rid of anything that I might “use one day” so I decided to start using up some of my older cards that I have in box or cards that I may have started and not finished and I am calling them “Take 2 Cards” because it will be their second chance of making it out of my craft room.

The card below was part of card swap that I was part of when I was a Stampin Up Demo, over ten years ago. (Don’t judge me lol) If I remember correctly I made ten for the swap and since I was on a roll I made a few more. But since then I have been addicted to pop up cards. I decided to make the butterfly card to a pop up butter fly card.

Some Buggy Loves You- November Sneak Peak

Welcome crafty friends to my sneak peak of Karen Burniston’s November release, and I have to say that it is such a fun release I know that I say this every time but all I can say is WOW!!! This is such a fun release!!!!

I couldn’t wait to play with the Playful Pop Up set so this is the first card I made. I also used the new Bug Border, and the Greeting Labels set along with the Bug Greetings stamps. Each Playful pop up has 4 moving arms, and I am using 2 so this fun card has 8 moving arms.

Rainbow of Butterflies

It seems likes it’s been forever since I’ve played Craft Roulette and I soooo enjoyed making this card. This weeks parameters weren’t too hard and I had fun adding butterflies to butterflies to make this explosion of colour. Here are this week’s parameters.

Here is how I met the parameters… Book Binding Card is a style of card where the side fold looks like it’s binded. Candy colours were easy, these bright colours could be jelly beans or gummy candies. My little frog rhymes with “ogg” and Happy Birthday is the letters.

Vertical Double Wiggle Birthday Bugs card

Last week for the Karen Burniston design team challenge Karen posted a VIDEO on how to create a “Wiggle Card” and I thought to myself “I need to make one of these!!!” But like most of my cards I don’t actually have a complete plan when I start my card so I decided on the fly to turn it vertical and to add a second set of wiggle mechanism. This is what I came up with. All the insects (with the exception of the bottom blue butterfly) and the XOXO wiggle when the card opens and closes.

Happy Birthday double Flower Collage

I recently received the Heart Collage Pop up dieset and was so excited to give it a try. But I wasn’t feeling an all heart card. I also recently received the Butterfly Collage add ons dieset. I knew I was going to try to do a double pop up and thought that there would be too many butterflies so I decided to mix in flowers. I used all the flowers from all the Karen Burniston diesets I currently have.
