Rudolf with Your nose so bright

Sneak Peek week continues and today I’m sharing a card I made using the Reindeer from the NEW Penguin and Reindeer add on, and I also used pieces from the Postage Pop up set. Keep reading to see what other new pieces I worked in.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

So apparently I’ve been stuck making 5 1/2” cards, I’m not sure why 🤷🏻‍♀️. But here we are ⬇️, I cut 3 of the green panels and the patterned panel I cut one of and also 2 in cream

Using the 2 larger of the Squares Crosshatch I cut a red frame, and then using the stamp frame and the inside pieces I cut the Postage Frame from green. I decided to add shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen

I assembled the reindeer from the Christmas animals. The mittens are from the NEW Snow Charms. The little lights come with the Penguin and Snowman addon set. I stamped the greeting from a stamp in the NEW Season of Cheer stamp set I originally added the pieces over the patterned paper but it was too busy for my liking so I cut some cream card stock and filled in 3 of the 4 openings. I liked the reindeer peeking in so I left it the way it was. The little Holly Berries are from the NEW Merry Christmas Lorna Add on.

I added the inside panels as shown below.

This New Penguin and Reindeer add on changes the Snowman Pop up into either a penguin or a reindeer. I chose to make a reindeer. Karen will have a video tutorial soon. I cut more pieces from the Postage Pop up, the main part of the postage die is cut in away that with a few snips the pieces come apart and can be used individually. I used the new Season of Cheer stamp set stamped in red on one of the squares. And I left one empty for signing. Add as shown.

I wanted some of the elements from inside to also be on the front so I had planned to add the same mittens on the deer as in the front and I have the deer hold a string of lights and I have the light as along the back, and lastly I have the holly and berries on the signature block.
