Another week of Craft Roulette, another fun card I wouldn’t have come up with without it. And I love their new photo download option ⬇️ . I also gave myself two extra parameters one is to use a set I have never used before and one is to use a set I haven’t used in a while.

This is how I met the perimeters… the card is an 4”x 8” slimline card, mountain colours are the blue sky, green grass and the colours of wild flowers. The flamingo is a floaty, and it’s riding the water waves. The Circle Charm Pop up is the set I have never used, and the floaty from Tiny Sets 4 is from a set that I haven’t used in a while.
All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.
I chose a baby blue cardstock, an double sided paper. The back side of the dark blue and blue that is close to the cardstock.
Cut the 2 pieces to the card base and attached as shown.

I cut 2 layers for the front and back of the short flap, and 2 layers for the long part of the card. And assembled as shown.

I cut the Circle Charm Pop mechanism into the short flap (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ ) on the 2 small panels, trace the circle from the circle on the card front and cut them out with scissors.

Add the panels to the cardbase as shown.
Cut a baby blue panel and add to the long side. Diecut the waves using the Tropical Scenes dieset

Die cut the layers and the connection circle using the dies in the Circle Charm Set, and add to the card base.

I wanted to stamp Happy Birthday on this smaller circle (from the same set ⬆️) using the Birthday Belated stamp set, but I had to curve the word Birthday on the block so it would fit in the circle. I sponged the edges of the circles and layered it on the front of the card.

I only had a scrap left of the green paper but I cut out a second connection circle. This one is going to go behind the one that is attached. Using a thread of bakers twine I attached the flip flops and the beach ball from the Beach Charms. To the front of the circles I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen.

I created the floaty scene by using pieces from the Tiny accessories 4, Princess and Mermaid, and Tiny Gnomes. The moustache makes cute piggie tails. I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen. Then added it to the card.

I have these itty bitty manicure gems from Amazon that I added around the card and I put one in the center of each shapes on the front. I added the clouds from the Nature Edges, and the little sunglasses are from Tiny Accessories 2.
