Touch of Gold Get Well Soon

Yay I got to play Craft Roulette this week and and I really love how this card turned out. I wanted to make a pretty card for a young lady who will be recovering from a surgery and I hope this card cheers her up.

Here are this weeks parameters ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

This is how I worked in the parameters. The borders are all side pockets with ribbon peaking out, I also have a gift card pocket on the back. To me spring colours scream fresh and clean Rhymes with “ool” is Jewel and I have them sprinkled throughout the card. I used a brick embossing folder sideways to make columns in the background.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

Never More Than a Thought Away-C4C554

*Sorry I’ve been MIA, but I’m here with a fun card for this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge blog. I did make this card back in July, my mom was quite ill and this is a card I made for her. I haven’t had the chance to post it yet, and it just happens to fit this weeks challenge which is ……… to create a slimline card. Slimline cards have become quite popular these days so Karen Burniston came up with an alternative design for her Circle Tagbook die set, and I couldn’t wait to give it a go. This is my version…..

K.I.S.S. Get well soon card

So it’s time to reel it in a bit so I decided I needed to create a K.I.S.S. (Keep it Simple Stupid) card. I find these more of a challenge than doing a multi layered, moving parts, glitter extravaganza card. I’m not sure why, I just do. I try to keep my K.I.S.S. cards to about 30 minutes (I have to throw a challenge in here somewhere) so here goes. 😀
