My daughter and her friends asked if I could make a get well soon for their principal who is currently on medical leave. I felt that it was very thoughtful of them, so I went down to my craft room and came up with this.

Thinking of You-Daisy Card (the original)
So a few weeks ago I posted a daisies easel card, in that post I mention that I made a card that I couldn’t post because my friend hadn’t received it yet and I didn’t want to give away the surprise but I posted a different card that was inspired by the original card that a different friend of mine wanted for a friend of hers. Well this is the original card, lol that was not confusing at all 🙄

“Pink Black-Eyed Susan” 🌺 Birthday card
Well, I have another fun technique today, Believe it or not, the stamp used for this card is a silhouette stamp, not a lined detail stamp. It was pretty easy to add the colour and a little bit of detail to make these flowers look like they were hand painted as opposed to stamped. This is a technique that I learned quite a few years ago when I used to be a Stampin’ UP demonstrator. It gives a much different look to stamps you may already have in your stash.

“Thinking of You” Daisy Card
So this card came about because I made a different card….. it’s funny how one thing leads to another. I made a fairly similar card a couple weeks back for a friend that I thought might need a little pick me up, and I showed it to another friend. This friend decided that she also has a friend that might need a little pick me up and asked if I could make her one as well. Well, I’m pretty sure my first friend hasn’t gotten hers yet so I don’t want to post her card online yet and I don’t think my friend’s friend follows my blog sooooo I decided to post hers first.
