Christmas Basket Bouquet-November Sneak Peak

So crafty friends, what do you think of the new release so far. Isn’t it a fun release, there are so many cute and fun dies, but today I am sharing a pretty card using the new Pine Cone die set. I just love making paper floral arrangements on my cards and I have really been wanting a pine cone and pine branches to add to my Christmas bouquets.

I wanted the floral arrangement to be the star of the show so instead of making a Popup card I decided to make an easel card.

Faux Water Colour and Gold Christmas

I know it’s a bit early for Christmas cards but…. Every year I tend to not have enough, so I’m starting early this year. I found this beautiful pack of paper that looks like water colour painting or alcohol ink. I don’t know why but I really wanted to make a Christmas cards out of it.

Babies 1st Christmas

Well, I’m a week behind again. This is a card I made for last week’s Craft Roulette challenge, and these are the parameters…

My belly band is a bit different. I added a rope band around the center panel. My cottage colours are a bit of a stretch, the wood and greens would be found in the trees, and the red and white could be a flag or tablecloth that could be found at a cottage. Santa is wearing a coat. I upcycled this card base, it was a card base left over from a class I taught over 10 years ago (I hang on to everything for ever) I also upcycled the thread I used, it was from a tag.

…..and A Happy New Year- December Design Team Challanges

I love design team challenges if for no other reason than it challenges me to come up with ideas that I may not of come up with other wise. This months challenge was “Happy New Year” and I was a little stumped at first and for some reason every time I thought about what I would do the “I wish you a Merry Christmas….and a Happy New Year” would pop in my head. I thought it would be super cute to have singing snowmen.

Lights along the Iron Fence

Hello crafty friends, I finally got my blog post done for my latest Craft Roulette card. I think fit would make a good masculine card. Here are the parameters and this is my card.

Here is how I met the parameters. It is am asymmetrical gate fold card, produce is,e colours would be green veggies, blueberry’s, strawberries, bananas and the metallic from the grocery carts. I have an iron fence on the inside. It is hard to see ( but it shows better in the directions) the Snow White paper was crumpled before I glued it down.
