Fairy Party in the Park

There is something so magical about fairies , Tinkerbelle was always one of my favourite characters so when ever I use the Fairie die from the Backyard Charms I fashion them in her image. For this card I made a fairy party in the park and decided to make them all a little different from each other.

Fancy Heart Accordion Valentine.

Today I’m sharing a card the uses the new Heart Add on with the Fancy Label Accordion. I really like making black and white cards with a pop of colour, and since it is a Valentine’s Day card I thought red would be the perfect pop.

Candy “Candy boxes”, and bag

I’ve got a little something different this week, and that is these cute candy boxes and bags. I had some left over Halloween candy and I thought it would be cute if The candy bars were peaking through and were part of the greeting.

“Raise it up” Birthday Card

Happy New Year🍾 and welcome to my first blog post of 2024. This post is also the first Karen Burniston design team challenge and the challenge is “Raise it up” using the new Raising Platform dieset. I decided to have 2 mechanisms and placed them horizontally as opposed to vertically

12 months of Favourites

I’m here to wish you all a belated Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Through the Christmas season I don’t get a lot of time to craft or blog (I have a retail job) but I thought I’d take an evening and reminisce over last year’s cards and pick a favorite for each month. I’m actually going through each month as I write this blog so I am figuring it out as I go.

January 2023 Spa Day Surprise Cube Card,

I really love the pink sparkle and my little spa girl with her mud mask.

February 2023 Under The Sea,

I enjoy making elaborate castles, and the texture of the sand paper.

March 2023 Happy Mother’s Day Paper frames

This is my first Craft Roulette card and I love how I created such a cute card using the parameters and making something that I wouldn’t have come up with otherwise.

April 2023 Crafty Friend Birthday card

This is another Craft Roulette Card, and again one I wouldn’t have come up with otherwise. I really love the mini pop-up card in the card and the colour combo

May 2023 Time For Tea

I typically hate mice, but in paper, they are pretty cute. Just love the little peek-a-boo mouse in the tea pot. Also another Craft Roulette Card (are you seeing a theme here)

June has a lot of great cards, sooo hard to pick, I think I’m going to go with this one

June 2023 In the Garden Thinking of you

Love the dimension in this card with all of the layers of flowers to make this scene

July 2023 Boho Graduation Card

This card was quite the work in progress. It was a personalized card and all the elements I assembled myself including the shaker boxes.

August 2023 Hello Birthday Bouquet

This card was inspired by Craft Roulette and a card that Sandy Diller made. I think the vellum shaker is so pretty and the pop-up bouquet is such a fun surprise.

September 2023 Killer Birthday

I love that this card is sooooooo opposite than what I typically make. Jason is actually popping out of the bushes, and the blood is shiny.

October 2023 Just Turn on the Lights

I L♥️VE everything about this card. The over the top Castle, the lights, all the little elements and especially the message. This would be my number 1 card of the year.

November 2023 Swirling Snowflakes

This has to be one of my favourite colour combos, and I love the swirling motion of the snowflakes. This is another Craft Roulette card.

December 2023 Red and Gold Tag and Label Charm card

I had to have at least one Christmas card and this one is the one I like the best. It’s so shiny and glittery in person and the ribbon adds such a luxurious touch.

I also want to have one honourable mention (it was so hard to just pick one) but I knew this card had to be on here somewhere

Fairy Tale Castle

Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my blog. I greatly appreciate every one of you. And I hope you have a truly magnificent New Year.
