ā€¦..and A Happy New Year- December Design Team Challanges

I love design team challenges if for no other reason than it challenges me to come up with ideas that I may not of come up with other wise. This months challenge was ā€œHappy New Yearā€ and I was a little stumped at first and for some reason every time I thought about what I would do the ā€œI wish you a Merry Christmasā€¦.and a Happy New Yearā€ would pop in my head. I thought it would be super cute to have singing snowmen.

Lights along the Iron Fence

Hello crafty friends, I finally got my blog post done for my latest Craft Roulette card. I think fit would make a good masculine card. Here are the parameters and this is my card.

Here is how I met the parameters. It is am asymmetrical gate fold card, produce is,e colours would be green veggies, blueberryā€™s, strawberries, bananas and the metallic from the grocery carts. I have an iron fence on the inside. It is hard to see ( but it shows better in the directions) the Snow White paper was crumpled before I glued it down.

Gold and Cream Christmas Tree

There is something so elegant about a cream and gold Christmas card that I canā€™t help but make at least one a year. I thought gold ornaments would look pretty on a cream coloured tree, and this is what I came up with.

Belated Flower Fan Pop Up

At least once a year I feel the need to make a black and white with a pop of colour card. And every time I try to chose a different colour. Iā€™m not sure why it took me so long to make a pop of teal, because teal is my favourite colour. I needed a special card for my niece and didn’t know at the time that teal is her favourite colour too. I also wanted to use the new Photo Fan Pop-up on a Birthday card as I have only made Christmas cards so far.

Triple Poinsettia Pop Up

Hello crafty crew, today I am sharing the card I made for the November Karen Burniston design team challenge. This months challenge was to make an Auntimn or Christmas Cheer card. And since I am always in need of a Christmas card I decided on Christmas cheer. I really love the new Poinsettia dieset and wanted to use it again.
