Gone Fishing

This card is inspired by Karen Burnistons April Design team challenge card. Once I get an idea in my head I have a hard time moving on to something else. I wanted to make a more masculine style of card and I decide to make my card a 5” x 7”. The rest of the changes I made along the way.

Blue and Green Birthday Candles Card

Hello, hello, crafty pals, today is the Karen Burnistons April Design team challenge and this month challenge is “designers choice” and you’d think that would be easy, but do you think I could come up with something lol. I was totally overthinking it. In the end I was bopping around Karen’s Webisite and I came across this Love Hearts Pop-up Instruction Sheet and thought it would be fun. I swapped out the Hearts add on for the Birthday Candles add on and this is what I came up with.

Dreaming of Flowers

Hello Crafty Friends, I am going out side of my comfort zone a bit and I’ve decided to try my hand at creating some tutorial videos. I know they are a bit rough compared to most of the tutorials out there but I figured you got to start somewhere and since I didn’t know how to blog when I started, that this would be the next step in my cardmaking journey.

I decided to have a good play with the paper people and thought they would look good inside the photo frame. I also wanted to try to see if I could get 2 Triple Platform bases in a gatefold card. I personally have no need for a teacher card so decided I would send it to my granddaughters and realized I would need 3 cards. So l had a bit of fun making them.
