Framed Friends Christmas card

I’ve just made another Christmas card to add to my pile. I actually made a really huge mistake, that led me to switching up the card, and I truely think it is better than what it would have been. I played Craft Roulette to come up with this card. These are this weeks parameters

This is how I used the parameters, the framed penguin “drops down” when the card is closed. Supper table colours, wood frame/wood table, the greens and reds are salad colours, blue and white could be the table cloth and the other colours are neutral. The season I chose was Christmas, and there are red mirror cardstock accents and little gems.

Swirling Snowflakes

It’s been a couple of busy weeks but I finally have a card to post. I thought I would play Craft Roulette to inspire a much needed Christmas card to add to my small pile. The Craft Roulette Parameters ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

How this card meets the parameters is…the mechanism in the middle is a “fancy fold” the twists when the card opens. I think of teals and silver when I think of “aquarium colours”, I used snowflakes to represent “November” and I have the little gems randomly around but I have them grouped in “clusters of 3” in several areas.

Country Kitchen Christmas

Hello crafty friends, it’s time for the Karen Burniston Design team challenge and this months challenge is “What’s Cooking?” and we were to use the Oven Pop Up dieset on our cards. I decided to make it a bit rustic, and I thought it would be fun to make a bit of a mess, if I were baking there would most defiantly be a mess. This is what I came up with.

Christmas Critters

Hello crafty friends, I have a cute Christmas card today and it was made while playing Craft Roulette . This weeks parameters are ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

I’m thinking a little outside the box on this one, instead of making a card that holds a “gift card” I put a card on a gift, look close the owl is holding it. For coffee shop colours I chose red and white as they are the Tim Hortons colours, the Browns are for the different shades of coffee and well, the blue is for the sky that can be seen out the windows. For the “Go Wild” I decided to use animals that could be found in the wild. I decided to add the numbers on the mittens as the card will be for a little girl who is just learning her numbers.

Santa Clauses are Coming to Town

I can’t believe we haven’t even gotten past Halloween yet and I’m already stressed about Christmas cards. So when this week Craft Roulette parameters came up I knew I was making a Christmas card. This weeks parameters ⬇️

This is the card I made, I used Kraft, Vanilla, and red cardstock, the “not cardstock” pieces are the acetate, the patterned paper, the ribbon, and the glitter. Santas work shop colours, I’m sure there would be wrapping paper in Santas work shop and my colours match the wrapping paper in the front. Santas coat would have a collar even though his beard is in the way. I added gold bow collars on the itty bitty Teddy Bear, and last but not least I used a Zig Zag ribbon on the inside borders.
