Autumn Slimline Thank you -C4C560

Happy weekend, I am here this weekend with another Crazy4Challenges challenge. This weeks challenge was to make a “Thank You” or a Thanksgiving giving card. Well here in Canada Thanksgiving was last month so I decided to make a Thank you card. This past week the Karen Burniston design team (I am not a design team member) posted their monthly challenge which was to make a fall themed slimline card, so I decided that I would then make a Fall themed slimline Thank you card. This is what I came up with.

Happy Birthday Bro LOL

Hahahaha this card makes me laugh, it is the birthday card that I made my little brother (in August 😊) who………. HATES garden gnomes 😂 Ever since he was a child he hated garden gnomes, so being the loving older sister I just had to make him this card for his birthday. My only regret was I had to mail it so I didn’t get to see his reaction 😂 This is my Second Garden Gnome, check HERE if you would like to see my first one.

Happy Hedgehog Birthday-C4C558

So I almost opted out of this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge. This weeks challenge was to use “Copper accents” on a card, the problem was that I was sure I had Copper embossing powder, which I didn’t, I was positive that I had copper embellishments but all I could find was gold, silver, or pewter, but no copper. I was just about to call it when I looked in my washi tape bowl and guess what I found….. copper washi tape, so away I went. As I was digging around I came across some Flower Soft supplies that had been given to me a few years ago but had never used so I figured I give them a go as well.

Autumn Anniversary-C4C556

Hello, I’m back again after a couple of busy weeks, I’m hoping to get back on track and more consistent soon, autumn is definitely in the air here so that is why I choose this colour scheme for this card (I love fall colours 🍁 🍂 🍁) This card was also made for this weeks Crazy4Challenges challenge which was to make a bridge card. The great thing about bridge cards is you don’t need anything special to make them, they have a great profile and can fit any theme or colour scheme.
