In the Woods birthday card

Wow what a week. Late again ☹️ but here is this week Craft Roulette-inspired card, and the parameters are…….⬇️

The 4 1/4” square is on the front of the card, the “Craft Roulette” colours are blue and green from the colour wheel. The image on the front is a “night” scene and there are bottom borders on the front and inside.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

1A- I cut the pieces from the Tiny Trees Pop Up from kraft and green cardstock. I used a green alcohol marker to add some shading, and a white gel marker to add highlights.

B- I assemble the trees (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ ) I only used three of the ones that I had highlights and I left without highlights (this will be for the night scene) I also trimmed off the connection piece for the one that has to go to the front.

2A- this is the card base

B- panels are the large panels, the blue one goes on the back

C- panels are the small panels

D- adhere the small panels to the large panels.

3A- die cut 3 tree bases and one fold splitter from the Tiny Trees Pop up as shown

B- add the 2 panels that are the same inside the card and add the fold splitter and 2 tree bases as shown (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ )

C- add the trees

D- add the third tree with the base

4A- I die cut the deer from the Outdoor Scene from Brown and green as shown

B- I added shadows and highlights as shown and trimmed

C- sandwich the brown deer between the 2 green hills and attach and trimmed shown

D- add the deer to the lone tree

5A- make the square panel

B- add the large panel to the front. I made a border by cutting some of the stripes from the patterned paper and adding it to blue strip of cardstock.

C- I made the scene using the hills from the Nature Edges, a circle and the tree. I used an alcohol marker for the sharing and a white pen to make the stars and for highlights.

6A- diecut Happy Birthday and the Happy Birthday Shadow

B- I made a message square using the Squares Crosshatch

C- I finished of the card by adding some more striped borders and some clear bubbles along the borders and a few on the front.
