Hellllooooo it’s Crazy4Challenges day and this weeks challenge is a colour challenge, and it’s a really fun colour combo.
I went with the brown, green, turquoise, pink, and peachy colours and I was even able to work in some of the sparkles.

I think I pulled off the colour matching pretty good if I do say so myself. Lol
The coloured cardstock used are all from Stampin Up and they are Early Espresso, Tempting Turquoise, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, and Pretty in Pink. The Card Base is 5″ x 7″ and was cut out of the Early Espresso.
This card is a special birthday card so I started with the inside, I hadn’t had the opportunity to make a three-tiered birthday card yet and I thought that my Aunts 80th birthday card would be the perfect time to try it out. I decided on making it a chocolate cake and to use some of the other colours to make the decorations.
I used Karen Burnistons Cake Pop-up die set and watched her video to help with the assembly
I used the Cake Trims die set to decorate the cake. I used the Tempting Turquoise, Petal Pink, and the Mint Macaron for the icing loops, and Pretty in Pink for the bows. I went over the icing with the Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle.
I topped the cake with the Number 80 that I cut from Pretty in Pink, and glittered up with the Wink of Stella, I added Pretty in Pink Panels to the inside of the card and adhered the cake to the inside of the card (as per the video directions)
To finish off the inside I used the Party Border Blends to add borders to the top and the bottom, I used the same colours as the cake icing.
Now for the outside. I wanted to bring the colour palette to the front of the card so I cut 4 Rectangles in the Pretty Pink, Tempting Turquoise, Petal Pink, and Mint Macaron, I cut them in 4 different sizes but to evenly fill the space. Then I place the 4 pieces into a swirly embossing folder keeping them spaced how I wanted them on the card so the swirly pattern would carry across all four pieces, Then I adhered them to the card front leaving small spaces between them all.
I went over all the swirls with a Wink of Stella to had some glitter,
I cut Happy Birthday out of Early Espresso and added it to the Petal Pink panel.
