K.I.S.S. Thank You Card

So this is my second K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple Stupid) card that I have posted on my blog, the last one was a challenge to myself and this one was out of necessity, I had 6 cards that I had to make in one evening so this is what I came up with for one of them.

The card base for this card was cut from Whisper White cardstock. I went through my scrap bin and found some nice fun coloured designer paper (from Stampin Up) with some coordinating solid pieces. I used some circles dies from a few of Karen Burnistons die sets, including the Coffee Cup popUp, and the Twist Circle popup and then just a few plain circle dies that I have in my stash.

I took some Melon Mambo ink and inked the edges of the patterned paper circles as they had a fair amount of white in them and I wanted them to pop a little.

I placed the circles down in random order until I found a placement that I like and adhered them in place, it is hard to tell in the photo but the middle polka dot circle is raised with Stampin dimensionals, as is the little blue circle to the left.

I stamped the greeting on the bottom with Melon Mambo Ink and called it done šŸ™‚
