I’ve been pretty busy (working on a really fun card for this weekends post 🤗) so I decided to post a card I made a while back (2014 😳). This is a back to basics kind of card with a little technique thrown in. If you look close I highlighted different spots on the butterflies with different colours of glitter. I found a way to colour my clearish Dazzling Diamonds glitter to match what ever colour of ink I was using. There wasn’t as many fun colours back then and even now sometimes it’s hard to find that exact matchContinue reading “Dazzling Butterflies (K.I.S.S) card”
So I’ve been looking through my old cards and I came across this card that I made my husband 10 years ago. It was an anniversary card that I made for our 10th anniversary. But it’s kind of pretty and it could pass for a valentine card so I thought I would share today.Continue reading “Golden Leaves, Love card”
soooo, I’m still working on my Christmas cards for this year (talking a little longer but they are pretty crazy this year)so I grabbed another card form my box. I made this one a couple of years ago. It’s pretty elegant in perso, the photo doesn’t do it justice, and one of my easier cards so it would be easy to C.A.S.E. it’s hard t see in the photo but the embossed section has glitter in it so it has a little extra pizzazz.Continue reading “Christmas Wishes”
So today I have a couple of cute Christmas cards. I had the really adorable patterned paper out from a previous project asd I wasn’t quite ready to put it away. These cards I made to show that you can just go with it, There was really very little measuring as I was cutting out sections of the patterned paper that I liked and then just cutting out a mat roughly 1/4′ bigger. I also challenged myself to stick to 4 colours of cardstock to work with, I did cheat a little on that one as I also used Vanilla cardstock on the inside of 2 of them.
to see a video of these cut cards (shows off the bling a little better please feel free to check out my Facebook page. Also please feel free to join if you would like to share your own creations .Continue reading “Easy Breezy Christmas cards”
it’s been a bit since I’ve posted a K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) card. To my new followers I use the turn as a reminder to myself that not every card I make has to be a 6 hour multi layer super pop-up card, it’s ok to take a step back and make something in a half an hour and call it good. The patterned paper that I used for this card is some of my favourite, I just love the colour combo so it was easy for me to pull this one together.Continue reading “Thinking of you K.I.S.S. card”
