“Hoppy Birthday”

So this little cutie actually dances in the waves, as you can see from the photo he moves from side to side (he has a pendulum type mechanism). This style of card is a little thick for mailing but he is sure to put a smile on someone’s face. To see a card with a similar mechanism check out “Snappy Birthday” from August 11/18.

Youtube is awesome, there is a video from Maymay made it https://youtu.be/XyEcTJPd0Fk which gives full directions on how to create the rocking mechanism in the card. She uses a boat but I thought that a dancing frog would be cute.

“Hoppy” the frog, the waves, lily pad, and fly are all from Karen Burniston collection from when she was working with Elizabeth Craft Design.

All the cardstock, stamps, ink, the die used to make the shoreline with the trees, and the big red brad on the bow tie are all from Stampin Up.
