Boho Congratulations- slimline,shaker, popup card

Sometimes I get special requests, and this card was a very special request. It is a graduation card from a mother to her daughter. I asked if there were colours or a style and she asked for a Boho style and sent me a photo of her daughters dress, which was a beautiful shade of blue. I chose to go with mostly neutral colours so the blue pieces would pop. I wanted to make it extra special so I have a borderless shaker card on the inside which is also visible from the peek a boo window on the front, and I added another see through shaker on the pop up mechanism on the inside. This is what I came up with.

Sending Hugs, double Oval Frames Popup

I’ve been thinking about pulling out the Oval Frames Pop-up dieset but was trying to think of a creative way to use it. Then I sat down to watch Friday’s episode of Craft Roulette and it came to me. These are this weeks parameters ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

The 2 folds are the gate folds, I decided to make a wooden slat planter and fill it with brightly coloured flowers. The 2 girl gnomes both have a smiley face, and the old product I used was old string and an old pink metallic elastic thread to tie the bow on the front.

Floating Cupcake Birthday card

What’s a birthday without a cupcake, or 2, or 6? I thought it would be fun to mix and match a couple of diesets while playing Craft Roulette and yes (as the title describes) the cupcakes on the front really float well they look like they float.

This weeks parameters are

So it’s obviously a birthday card, picnic colours (sky blue, green grass, red and orange for fruit that would be had at a picnic and of course CUPCAKES, I have a collection of cupcakes, and spots lol. For the black dots there are black circles in the patterned paper, there is a… on the inside message and I drew a couple of dots on the signature space.

House of cards, Uno style

Hello, hello, hello. So this is my second blog post using the new House of Cards pop up dieset, BUT it is the first House of Cards card that I made. I learned a few hard lessons, so I will give some advice and explain the mistakes that I made in hopes that you can learn from them, and have an easier time (I lost count of how many times I put it together and took it apart lol) Please make sure you watch Karen’s assembly video (at the link above) she gives the best tutorials, my blog is more of helpful tips and what not to do.
