Welcome Crafty Friends, to our Karen Burniston Products – KB Riley LLC November Release Blog Hop. The Design Team have come together with Karen today for a fun blog hop to celebrate the release of 15 new dies and 5 new stamp sets. Sneak peeks of the new release started last week, and the dies are available to order NOW!

I was so stumped on what card to chose because I had made a few (sorry not all posted yet) but then I unexpectedly needed to make a “Get Well Soon” card and I just love how it turned out so I knew it had to be this card.

New Release!!!! Flying Butterflies card

Hello crafty crafters, today is the day, the Karen Burniston June release, and let me tell you it is such a fun release. I didn’t even know where to start and what to share first. I thought this card was a bright and fun so I am sharing it first. But check out all these awesome dies, and stamps!!!!⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

To animate the butterflies on this card I used the new Whirly Wheel. When you turn the wheel the butterflies go up and around, it’s so cool.

Rainbow of Butterflies

It seems likes it’s been forever since I’ve played Craft Roulette and I soooo enjoyed making this card. This weeks parameters weren’t too hard and I had fun adding butterflies to butterflies to make this explosion of colour. Here are this week’s parameters.

Here is how I met the parameters… Book Binding Card is a style of card where the side fold looks like it’s binded. Candy colours were easy, these bright colours could be jelly beans or gummy candies. My little frog rhymes with “ogg” and Happy Birthday is the letters.

Dazzling Butterflies (K.I.S.S) card

I’ve been pretty busy (working on a really fun card for this weekends post 🤗) so I decided to post a card I made a while back (2014 😳). This is a back to basics kind of card with a little technique thrown in. If you look close I highlighted different spots on the butterflies with different colours of glitter. I found a way to colour my clearish Dazzling Diamonds glitter to match what ever colour of ink I was using. There wasn’t as many fun colours back then and even now sometimes it’s hard to find that exact match

Happy Birthday Butterfly Window card

This card was part of a card swap that I was a part of, I had created 10 of these if I remember correctly. I thought the window feature gave a fun element to this card especially since the cardstock in the inside is a different colour it adds colour to the butterfly when the card is closed.
