At the Beach-Birthday Card-C4C487

This week’s Crazy 4 Challenge had me shopping at the hardware store lol. The challenge was a beachy theme and to incorporate sand, I could have used real sand, sandpaper, sand stamps or sand images, I choose SANDPAPER, I thought the texture would add to the overall effect of the card and would be a little less messy than real sand. This is a belated birthday card for my Mom and one thing that she enjoys is her almost daily walks on the beach with my Dad and their 2 dogs, Cinnamon and Molly. This is my representation of their beach, with the waves rolling in and the woods in the background.

“Cheers to you” Beachy Birthday

Here is a beach themed card that I made a little while back for a friend who loves her beachy vacations, so I thought she would enjoy this card. She enjoys her rum & coke so that is what Rocky the Crab is enjoying as well.

“Anniversary by the Beach”

This card was fun to make but a little on the tricky side (both chairs have to line up perfectly or the card won’t close). But I was determined to make his and her chairs with his and hers drinks. In the end, it came out like I planned and my sister and her hubby got a real kick out of their card.
