I pulled this weeks Craft Roulette card together pretty quickly. I was stumped for the first day and finally decided this morning what I was going to do. Here are this weeks parameters ⬇️

I have 2 shaker “ windows” one on the front and one on the flower center, I chose to use “peacock” colours and silver as my neutral. My “by the pond” element is the dragonfly and I added the “paperclip” to the front.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.
I chose 3 shades of teal cardstock, all three are from Core Color.
1A- cut and score the card stock as shown.
B- add the panels to the front, back, and inside of the card.

2A- I used the Labels Crosshatch to make the frame and cut the vellum for the shaker box.
B- I added foam adhesive around the frame, I carefully laid down some sequins that I got from the Dollar Store I to the card front, and covered with the shaker frame.

3- I diecut the largest Crosshatch Label and cut it in half. I cut it in half and added it to the inside of card.
4- die cut and assemble the mechanism for the Twist Flower Pop Up (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ )

5A- I die cut the Flower using the dies from the Twist Flower pop up set, I cut the center from vellum. I used another circle die to nest with the one from the set and made a ring. But as you can see (see arrows) it was too thin
B- I used a bigger circle from the Coffee Cup pop up to make a bigger ring. I know it’s lop sided but I was planning to add the dragon fly to one side.

6A- I used Brushed Silver cardstock to cut the leaves (from Twist Fllwer popup) and a Silver mirror cardstock and vellum to cut out the dragon fly from the Flutter Charms set.
B- I added all the elements to the inside along with some other Crosshatch Labels on the inside.

7a- I cut out and assembled the paperclip from the Office Charms set, and I diecut Thank You twice, once from the dark teak and one from the Brushed Silver
B- and added them on the shaker box.

8- I added some little clear bubbles and some sequins. A trick I use to keep the sequins from falling of is after I add glue to the card, I add the sequin and push it so a little bit of the glue comes through the holes, then I add a little more glue on top. Make sure it is a glue that dries clear.

Other Tools used

Fabulous design, though the mechanism for the twist did look a bit complicated the whole effect is fabulous x
