Too cool for school

I had forgotten that I hadn’t blogged this card, this is a card I made for the December Release. The school house and book worm make a cute combo 📚 🐛

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

1- I diecut most of the pieces needed ahead of time. To make the school house you need the Tiny House and the Church and School Tiny House Add on and assembled as per Karen’s direction (check links above). I also diecut the pieces from the Bookworm dieset and ABC 123 from the Mini Alphabet And Numbers set.

2- the card base is 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Cut the panels for the front and inside but don’t adhere on yet. The paper pack is retired Creative Memories

3- adhere the panel that will be on the inside left. Next lay the school in where it will go on the right side (don’t adhere in yet) lay the small hexagon down face up with adhesive on the back facing up. Close the card, the hexagon will stick to the left side. Die cut the window. Add the front panel. Lay the small hexagon inside the first cut and diecut again to cut through the front layer

5- using the smallest 2 hexagons diecut some frames in matching colours , and a white hexagon. Add to the card as shown

6- add the school , the bookworm and all the other cut up pieces

7- die cut Thank You and a few more hexagons to finish off the front. The book worm should be visible through the window.
