Water Colour Rose

So watercolour isn’t a technique that I use often as I don’t often get the results I desire, but I have to say this card turned out pretty good.

All the supplies used on this card are from Stampin’ Up, the card stock colours used are Always Artichoke, Mello Moss, and Very Vanilla. The Rose was stamped on Watercolour paper. I stamped then masked the rose, then I restamped the rose to make it look like there were leaves behind the rose. I used watercolour crayons in Rose Red, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Mellow Moss and Always Artichoke. I used a water pen to create a watercolour effect.

I used a Swirly embossing folder to emboss the Mellow Moss Card cardstock.

The ribbon is Very Vanilla Grosgrain.
