I am so sorry for being M.I.A. these last few weeks, I have been dealing with this issue I’ve been battling with for quite a while now. I don’t usually put my life out on the Internet but I thought I’d let my followers know that I have a protruding disc in my neck which causes me to have quite a bit of constant pain down my left arm. It is making it very hard to be in my craft room, and really hard to type a blog. I’m on the mend and I’m hoping to be back in action within the next few weeks. I’ll post what I can when I can and hopefully I can get rolling again soon. Thank you for your patience and for sticking around.
I’m so sad that I haven’t been able to create all the fun valentine cards I was hoping to create this year. The card I am posting today is a card that I made last year but couldn’t post because I didn’t want to give the surprise away so I’m posting it today. I didn’t take as many photos last year as I do now so I just created this blog the best that I could with the photos that I have and my limited mobility (thank goodness for talk and text LOL) This blog is short and sweet but I hope you like it.
Trying really hard to get back on track, well at least this week’s Crazy4Challenges challenge is done on time 🙂 it’s the third weekend of the month and that means it is a sketch challenge. I don’t typically make Halloween cards but I thought that I would give it a go. I can’t take much credit for the card as the front is a design challenge and the inside is a close re-creation of a Karen Burniston card.
Hello, it’s Saturday so today I have another Crazy4Challenges challenge. This week is a sketch challenge ( for those of you who may not know a sketch challenge is when the team is given a sketch and we have to use the sketch as inspiration to make the card), I also decided to challenge myself by choosing a colour palette that is a little outside my comfort zone. The orange colour is called Tangerine Tango and before this card, I have never used it, it came in mix packs of cardstock and it was accumulating in my drawer so I thought I would give it a go once I found the bright striped paper I was going to use.
For you cat lovers, here is a birthday card. What this post doesn’t show (I don’t have the ability to post video) is that the kitty is on a spring mechanism which makes him wiggle. It’s pretty cute if I do say so myself.
