“Princess Party” card

What little girl doesn’t love a princess or three LOL? this is a card that a friend of mine asked me to make for her stepdaughters birthday. This is the first punch art card that I have posted. Punch art is using punches or dies together to create something different.

“Balloon Birthday”

Inspiration comes to me in many ways, most times the recipient of the intended card plays a big part. Maybe they have a pet, maybe their favourite colour is blue, maybe they love Harry Potter. Today’s card all started with a piece of paper, my friend who will be the recipient of this card is one of the happiest people I know, she can make me smile or laugh with just a phone call and more often then not she brightens my day. So I found a pretty bright piece of designer paper and went from there.

“Birthday Cupcakes”

Happy Friday. This is a Birthday card that I made for my brother. His birthday was a month ago, but the snail mail was particularly slow on this one. I choose bright colours for this one,ย  and cupcakes since I wouldn’t be able to eat cake with him this year so I thought I’d send cupcakes ๐Ÿ˜‰

“Forest Friends, Happy Birthday”

This card was an experiment. When I originally saw the video for Karen Burnistons Cascading Tag card {see card “Back to the Beach” from Aug 17,18} my brain started churning if she could do that with the Adirondack chair die, what could I do with the Garden Bench die {see cardย “Friends” from Aug 30, 18}, I assumed that in theory that it should work, long story short, it didn’t, well not as well as the Adirondack chair turning into a cascading tag card but I did come up with this.
