Riley (the moose) Celebrates!!!!

Finally, I got to play Craft Roulette this past weekend, it’s been months. I wanted to work in my new Riley Stamps with this week’s parameters, and this is what I came up with.

So it’s noticeably a square card, Dairy Aisle colours would be all the bright colours that can be found in the yogurt section, and chocolate milk of course. The leaves can be found in the bouquet that’s on the front, and I have several hexagons through out. I used 3 sets of stamps from Riley and company, they are the sets that were available during Stamptember the last three years, they are not currently available but there are several Adorable Riley Stamps to chose from.

Have a Slice

Wow, where did the summer go, I can’t believe it is already time for the September Karen Burniston design team challenge. This months challenge is “Letters” so I decided to use the Mini Alphabet & Numbers to diecut the message on the front. This is also a birthday card for my horror movie loving brother….. can you tell who the slasher is. This is my third year of making horror themed birthday cards for him, the first year was Jason, and the second was Freddie, and here is Michael….

Fabulous 50

I was a little stumped when making this card for my darling husband. He is the one person who gets to see ALL my cards in person, no matter who they are for and he is my biggest supporter in all that I create so I wanted this card to be extra special. I actually spent about 3 hours just cutting and colouring the balloons. It’s actually shinier in person as well.

Fenced in Garden

I really get excited when I am able to design a card using a dieset that has a completely different purpose. And that’s what I was able to pull off with this card. Believe it or not the main mechanism that I used to support the fence and some of the flowers is 🥁🥁🥁🥁….. the Piano Keys Pop Up 🎹🎹🎹

Oilers Themed “Happily Ever After”

Hello, today I’m sharing a card that was an extra special request. The recipients will be celebrating a milestone anniversary and apparently they are huge Edmonton Oilers fans. So I had the dilemma, how to make a pretty card with a hockey theme. I’m glad she gave me lots of notice, because honestly I was kind of stumped. But in the end this is what I came up with.
