Hello, hello, today I am sharing a card I made for last weeks Craft Roulette, here are the parameters….

… and this is how I met the perimeters. This is a card for someone special, my granddaughter. The fruit colours are blueberry, strawberry, pink grapefruit, and lime. I stretched it a bit with the critters by using flamingoes but they are special to my granddaughter. I used water colour pencils to add all the shading.
All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.
I cut the card base and layers as shown below.

I cut the borders from the Border Blend Trims, I used a pink water colour pencil (mine are retired Stampin’Up) and added shading with the pencil along the bottom, then blended with water and a paintbrush.

I added the layers and borders to the card base as shown.

I cut 2 panels from the Tagbook Pop up and assembled them following Karen’s VIDEO tutorial.

I cut the pieces below from the Tagbook pop up. I trimmed the blue tags into rectangles and cut the square in half. I added a bit of extra pink trim to the square halves. Then added them to the mechanism.

I cut pieces from the Balloon Collage Add On, Explosion card, Birthday Charms, Big Birthday Charms, Beach Charms, Tiny Accessories 4, and Numbers sets. I added shading with water coloured pencils and a paintbrush with water, I added highlights with a white Gelly roll pen.
I stamped a greeting from the Photo Memories Stamps onto a small white rectangle and started adding the elements to the card base. I added a third rectangle to the bottom right with some balloons and the small flamingo.

I added more balloons to the cardbase to the inner left and upper right. I also added some random sequins around.

I cut the red and white panels as shown below. I used a corner rounder to trim the corners then layered.
I diecut Happy Birthday and added shading with a water coloured pencil and white highlights. Then layered onto the Happy Birthday Shadow. I added all the elements as shown. I made the number five into a candle and added it on top of the cake. I sprinkled some random sequins around as well.
