Hello crafty crew, today I am sharing my third sneak peek card for Karen’s new release….

I decided to make a fishing card using new Fishing Boat Add on, the Paper People, and Fishing Stamps. I think it turned out super cute.

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.
I cut the card base and panels as shown. The bottom teal layer, I cut the centres out just to cut back on the bulk and to conserve cardstock. (typo- there are 4 of the water colour patterned paper purchased from Walmart)

Layer the panels and add to the card base as shown. Photo shows the front back and inside.

I cut the Boat pieces and the Fishing Boat add on pieces (Karen will have an assembly video posted soon) I assembled the boat and I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen.

It is hard to see but I did use the new Ocean Edges on the border inside the card. I cut the border panels as shown below, I added vellum to double-sided adhesive and then cut the waves. I cut the fish from the Fishing Boat add on and I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen. I layered the pieces as shown, having some of the fish under the Vellum wave and some over. I added wink of Stella to the Vellum to give it a little sparkle because it was hard to see and added it to the cardbase.

These Paper People are an absolute must have, they are so customizable, I made a little guy that resembles my son (beards a bit thick but close) I trimmed the pants to make shorts, I drew on flip-flops. To give him hair on the back of his head I just caught out the head of another paper person and trimmed as shown. The fishing rod is from the Fishing Boat add-ons, I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen

I diecut circles from the Circles Crosshatch, on the blue ones I sponged a bit of a darker ink on the bottom and white highlight to the top left. On one of the white circles I stamped a greeting from the Fishing Phrases stamp set. I layered the white over the blue and added the stamped circle to the top left circle. I trimmed the second one and added to the bottom right. I added a couple of fish to both circles.

I layered some larger circle from the Circles Crosshatch, to cut back on the bulk I die cut the small white circle out of the large circle, then layered as shown. I added some of the fishing elements from the Fishing Boat Add ons. Using the Happy Birthday Lorna Add on, I fussy cut the greeting from the label. I had to diecut it twice because the letters slightly over lap.

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience, I took you off the mailing list when you asked me to previously. I just looked and found that you are not currently on the list so I’m not sure why your still getting the emails, I also don’t know what to do as your name doesn’t show up at all. The only thing I can suggest is to just block from your email.

that’s way beyond my skill level but I guess our sons might look alike. It’s spectacular!
