Snow Family Advent Calendar

I was having so much fun with the snow man pieces I decided to do a second snow man card, well this time it’s not a card, I thought it would be fun to make a snow Family advent calendar. This was so much fun, the snow people are inspired by my son and his 2 daughters. ($10 bucks Brayden if you actually read this post lol)

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

So all the paper is from my stash. I used to be much better at organizing my paper but then I packed everything up because of Reno’s and now 🤷‍♀️

1- I die cut all the pieces to make the three snow people, and the decorator pieces. I did assemble them white on white, the extra pieces add stability. I assembled the balls as per Karen’s directions (she has videos on her product pages, I will link at the bottom)

Dad Snowman is a Surprise Ball, a Bitty surprise Ball, and a Mini Surprise Ball

The snowgirl with the piggie tails is made from a Surprise Ball and a Bitty Surprise Ball

The littlest snowgirl is. Bitty Surprise Ball and a Mini Surprise Ball

2- I die cut the pieces from Snowman Add on set and made the dad snowman as shown

3- I cut out more snowman pieces, I also diecut the bow from the Parcel Pop up dieset. I cut extra branches in the tan colour, these will be the pigtails. The Mitts are from the Gnomes add on set. I used a circle die to draw on the smile

4- on to the littlest snow girl, I thought it would be cute to have her scarf come up over her mouth. I diecut little dots from this same dieset to make the dots for her toque, I also used the hat from the Gnomes set to make the toque.

5- the numbers were all diecut using the Mini Alphabet and Numbers set. I die cut the trapezoids from blue glitter cardstock. The Double ups came in really handy for this. Make sure all the trapezoids are going in the same direction when adding the numbers.

6- I have dollar store magnets that I put behind every trapezoid and I also have one on the Surprise Ball

7- I diecut the “Days Until” using the Mini Alphabet and Numbers set. The Christmas is from the Merry Christmas dieset. I die cut the shadow from the Merry Christmas Shadow die but trimmed off most of the word Merry I added them to the ball as shown.

Time for the close ups
