Hearts & Stars

This is a bit of a throwback, this the first “card in a box” that I have ever made. These cards are sooo neat, they fold flat so they fit in an envelope, then they open up and all the fun stuff pops out 🙂

Alll the supplies used are from Stampin”Up, including all the dies to cut out the shapes that decorate the card. I don’t have a direct link on the directions as I don’t remember which ones I used, but Youtube has dozens of videos on how to construct a “card in a box”

“Excited Puppy Birthday card”

This card is pretty funny if you happen to know my dog. She loves to sit in the window to wait for us all to get home and she gets crazy excited when we do, and she has little yellow tennis balls all over the house. The dog on the card also rocks from side to side, (like the Hoppy Birthday frog from October 8th/18 and the Snappy Birthday crab from August 11th/18)

“Hoppy Birthday”

So this little cutie actually dances in the waves, as you can see from the photo he moves from side to side (he has a pendulum type mechanism). This style of card is a little thick for mailing but he is sure to put a smile on someone’s face. To see a card with a similar mechanism check out “Snappy Birthday” from August 11/18.
