Its seems like forever since I’ve had the time to play Craft Roulette so I was pretty excited that I was able to make time this weekend.

How I met this weeks parameters; I have a LARGER house on the front and SMALLER houses on the inside, the PLANET COLOURS are blue, green and brown for Earth and red for Mars. There are plenty of HOUSES, and I have WHITE BORDERS on the front and the inside.
All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.
I started by choosing the festive paper which is retired Creative Memories, and I found a green and a blue to match. I cut the card base and panels as shown. The extra white panel ( shown with the blue) was cut with the Nature Edges to make snowy hills.

I sponged blue ink around the sky piece and the snow piece. I sponged green ink around the patterned paper.
I diecut the panel piece from the House Pivot Panels, I masked as shown and sponged what would be the sky, and the edges of the snow.

When adding the front panels I noticed there was a cut in the card base along the edge, and I didn’t want to start over. I added the white panels to the inside and I made 2 borders as shown below and added to the inside. It is only slightly noticeable on the front but only when I look closely at the bottom corner.

If I’d known I was going to add the borders I would have only used smaller white panels. I cut the sky and snow that same as the front but with the dimensions below.

I diecut the pieces for the house from the House Pivot Panel, and for the house from Holiday House I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen, I tried to make each of the little houses slightly different. I used extra roof snow to make the snowbanks on the front.

I had to get creative to make the little wreaths, so first I used a small hole Punch and popped in a little hole, them I used the wreath from the Holiday House around the hole and die cut it. I used the middle section to make the small wreath, and then I still have a larger wreath. I cut out 3 wreathes this way and used a one strand from from red bakers twine for the bow.
To make Christmas lights for the other little houses I used a very thin silver wire and, twisted it in little loops and added some clear itty bitty gems.

Add the House Pivot Panels mechanism to the card (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️) and add the little houses. Making sure the wire from the decorations does not get hung up in the folds.

I diecut the greeting on the front (shown in the next slide) and the inside from the Small Script Christmas dieset. I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen. I layered 2 circles from the Circles Crosshatch to make a signature space. I added some wire and gems to decorate the side of the circles.

I added some itty bitty gems around the words on the front and the inside.
