Slimline purple with purse card.

I was going through my photos and realized I made this card months ago but forgot to post is. It was actually a Craft Roulette card. I submitted it there but I’m just creating my blog post now. Hopefully I remember all the important details lol.

I needed the scalloped rectangle from the Rectangles and Labels Crosshatch to be longer, so I laid the die on the cardstock then on a cutting pad and then laid the top cutting pad as shown, not completely to the end of the die. Cut. I then laid the die down on the same piece of card stock but on what will be the other end of the rectangle making sure to line the scallops up perfectly. Again lay the cutting pad as shown not to the end of the die but making sure to cut up to the previous cut. You should have a 8 1/4” x 4” rectangle X 2

Using a purple paper I cut 4 pieces @ 7 1/2” x 3 1/2” I used a corner rounder and added them to the front and back of both pieces of cardstock. On what will be the back panel score 1” from one end.

Add glue to this section and add to the second panel. The card will open flat.

Using a couple other dies from the Rectangles and Labels Crosshatch I made a label. I created the purse from the Purse Pop up (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️ ) Add the purse to the card using Karen’s directions.

I made three rectangles as shown, rounded the corners and added to the card. On one of them I added a smaller rectangle in the lighter purple to have a place to sign.

Diecut and layer Hello and “friend” from the Word Set 1. I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen

I added vellum to a piece of double sided adhesive and coloured it with a purple alcohol marker. That’s what I used to cut out the perfum. Using the Dolled Up charms I cut out all the elements. The purse is just half of the pop up purse.

I added all the elements to the card. To make the mascara wand I used the wand from the Princess and Mermaid set and layered three of them together and added it to the cap piece.

I cut the XOXO from Wordset 9. I also added some itty bitty gems randomly around.
