Hello, I’m a little late posting my Craft Roulette card this week, but here it is. This card turned out prettier than I thought it would. This weeks parameters are…

This is how I met the parameters, “Hello“ is part of the greeting on the front. The deep purple is a “robust” colour. Workplace is kind of a stretch but I do have flowers as decor around my workplace, or if I were a florist I’d be surrounded by flowers. And “Mixed Media” is the multiple products I used; paper, cardstock, gold Wink of Stella, clear Wink of Stella, clear bubbles, lace ribbon, gold string, Versa marker, and white gel pen. This is what I came up with….

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page, or TikTok 😊
I was actually going to make a different card, I wasn’t even sure I was going to be able to make a Craft Roulette this week but I pulled out this Echo Park Paper Pack and the “Hello Beautiful” jumped out to me and the seed was planted and I couldn’t move on to a new card until I made this one.
I cut the card base and panels as shown.

I did not adhere the white panels to the inside. I used post it tape to line them up so I could mark where the die for Flower Pot Pop Up mechanism will go, die cut then add the white panel to the card base making sure to keep them the same distance apart from when they were cut.
Cut and assemble the flower pot (Karen has a video tutorial on the product page at the link ⬆️) I added shading with a Versa Mark Marker, and highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen

Sooooooo I made a mistake. I diecut the little flaps into the white paper a little too low so when the card is closed the flower pot peeks outside the bottom of the card. If I were making this card again I would set up the mechanism slightly higher. But if you follow me at all you know that I will do what ever I can to salvage a card, to salvage this card I cut out larger panels and added them to the card as shown.

I fussy cut some flowers and foliage from the patterned paper and added highlights with the Wink of Stella, and the Gold Wink of Stella. I added the pieces to the flower pot, larger at the back and getting smaller to the front.

I cut the panels for the front as shown. Then layered. The pinkish frame is more of a purple (the flash changed the colour in the photo)

I added gold highlights to the flowers on the panel, then the lace ribbon and gold string. I added some clear bubbles over some of the gold dot highlights.

I fussy cut a border for both sides, then adhered it to the same purple cardstock as the cardbase, then fussy cut around that. I adhered it to both sides then added a few extra pieces left over from the flower pot.
I added some Wink of Stella highlights and a few dots. The “love you” is cut with a die from the Pop n Swap dieset.
