Love You Birthday Boy

I really like how my husbands birthday card turned this year. I made a similar card a few months back and I quite like the effect of the clear plastic card front so I thought I’d make another one. Both cards were originally inspired by a Valentine’s Day Card by Karen Burniston

All the fun is in the reveal, to see this card in action please check out my FACEBOOK page, feel free to join if you would like to share your own crafty creations. You can also see a video of this card on my INSTAGRAM page.

The cardstock for this card is from Stampin Up and are listed below, and the paper is from stash.

I used the Rockin Rectangle die set from Karen Burniston, I took photos of making the mechanism but you would really want to watch Karen’s VIDEO as she explains it much better

I double layered the blue rectangle because after I embossed the first layer it seemed kind of flimsy.
