Rainbow Circles slimline Shaker card-C4C534

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is healthy and well. Through this time of Covid 19 I have made a few “Thinking of You” cards. I made this one for a friend who really wanted to send a card to a special loved one in her life. This time is so hard on everyone and I thought this card would brighten someone’s day. It is also Crazy4Challenges time and this weeks challenge is to make a slim line card. A slime line card is a long skinny card, my card is 4”x9” so it fits the challenge 😀

I really want this carded to have some fun bold colours, all of the cardstock is from Stampin up and the colours are listed below.

I thought a black and white cardbase would help the bright shaker boxes POP

I used the “Boundless Shaker” technique to make the sides of this card. The pink and orange shakers appear as if they are going over the edge. I got the idea from seeing a VIDEO from Olga Direktorenkoq.

Now for the inside.

Originally I just scored the circles that were going to be placed across the inside fold of the card, but they buckled when I folded the card so I cut the circles and in half where they would have been scored then added them to either side of the fold.
