*Welcome to the weekend and another Crazy4Challenges challenge. This weeks challenge is a Sketch challenge. I was a little short for time this week as I have been preparing for a really special card that I will posting soon (Monday I hope) so I thought this would be a fun card to make using a Scrapbooking kit. The benefit to using a Scrapbooking kit is that all the cardstock, paper and stickers will coordinate so if you are short on time this is a quick way to pull a card together. I also thought this kit would make a good masculine card to have on hand as I generally have an easier time making more fancy feminin cards that I am generally short of masculine cards. I think this one hit the mark.
Here is this weeks Sketch

and here is the card that I made for this challenge

To see a video of this card in motion please check out my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/MyMessyCraftroom/ please feel free to join if you would like to share your crafty creations.

Like I mentioned above I used the supplies from a Scrapbooking kit to create this card, this kit is a retired Stampin Up kit called “Creative License” and the colours are all listed below.
To create the mechanism I used Karen Burnistons Spinner Square Pop Up

Correction, below- it should say Card base, not base base.

I wanted the four squares to have a similar look so three of them were created using stickers from the kit, but there wasn’t a Happy Birthday, so I stamped that on the fourth square and did my best to have it blend in with the other three squares.

Now for the inside. In my craziness I thought that I would be able to take photos and describe how to assemble the mechanism, the reality is Karen has 2 great videos that do it way better that I ever could (both are linked above)
