Bears and Bows Baby card

This is a baby card from my photo stash, it is an oldie but a cutie. Every once in a while I get the urge to watercolour, I’m not great at it but I find that when I use a cute stamp and watercolour paper, I can pull it off ok.

I made this card back in my Stampin’ Up days so all the supplies are from Stampin Up, colours will be listed below, I am going from memory as this card was gifted away a while ago, I didn’t take a lot of photos then so I worked with what I have.

When watercolouring I always recommend using a watercolour paper, I’m no pro, I don’t even have a preference of style or weight, this is just what Stampin Up sold at the time. I would put a drop of reinker on the lid of my ink pad and use that to watercolour with. I believe the colours I used were Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Pink Pirouette, and Crumb Cake.

The card base is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ Bashful Blue Cardstock
