Here is a flashback Valentines card that I made my Hubby a few years ago. It is a super cute card that I can’t take full credit for as it was inspired by a card that was made by Jennifer McGuire but I’d like to think that the changes that I made help make this card my own 🙂

Ok, sooo much to say about this card, not sure where to start.
The bears that are starring on this card are Buster the Bear and I cut out 2 of them, the one on the front is holding a little heart, and the one on the inside is holding the Valentines banner flag she also is sporting a little bow to make her look like a her.
Like mentioned above I was originally inspired by this card by Jennifer McGuire https://youtu.be/B-vbXknSAJA and I made the card base by following her instruction
All the cardstock is from Stampin’ Up, colours used are Island Indigo, Soft Sky, Melon Mambo, Early Espresso, Basic Black, and a little bit of Whisper White. The Heart Dies that I used for the cutout and the Soft Sky frame on the front are also from Stampin’ Up. The “Happy” die and the little banner flag are also from Stampin up as is the itty bitty valentines day stamp on the on the little banner flag.
I used gold Wink of Stella to add so some details to the Melon Mambo “Happy” diecut.
The sequins and glitter used in the shaker were actually purchased from my local Fields store.
Some important things to note when making this card is that alignment was really important. I made sure to follow Jennifers video directions to make sure that the heart window on the front perfectly lined up with the window on the back, I made sure that the 2 Bears aligned so that from the outside we only see the one Bear so the second bear is kind of a surprise, and third I needed the banner flag to be visible from the outside so the Greeting read “Happy Valentines Day” when looking at the card closed but I still had to make it look like it tied in to the inside of the card.
